This was a super fun, almost exclusively outdoor wedding, including the ceremony which always provides the best lighting, especially under the canopy of trees as Hobbit Hill offers. Every other photograph from this day was either someone laughing out loud or balling their eyes out, makes it pretty easy when these are the moments I’m frequently looking for! When I first started speaking to Lily & Sam about their wedding there was a big emphasis on the evening party, dance floor photos and finishing it all off with a fire show - All this with a couple that loved, and enforced country music on the dance floor led to a pretty active one! Loved to see it.

The Venue Itself

Hobbit Hill in Clitheroe is a picturesque wedding venue with excellent scenery, rustic charm and a warm hued reception space. Its rolling hills, lush greenery, and stunning views offer a magical setting for ceremonies, ideal with good weather. Whether in spring's vibrant colours or autumn's warm tones, Hobbit Hill serves as a stunning backdrop year-round. This above is just a few reasons why it’s one of my favourite, local venues and I always get a bit excited when a new couple get in contact for photographing here.
