Eaves Hall is located just outside Clitheroe, nestled in beautifully landscaped gardens with views over the surrounding countryside. The building itself is a red brick Georgian manor with elegance and plenty of charm. It’s exclusively yours for the wedding day, meaning it’s not open to the public.

This has got to be my favourite local venue right in the heart of Lancashire, my home county. This country home has pretty much everything on the wedding venue list ticked off, from multiple ceremony spaces (Including outside) to lush gardens that all year round offer backdrops for bride and groom photographs.

The way in which Eaves Hall is set out works perfectly for a bustling wedding, even with smaller groups of around 50 guests. No room is excessively large making space difficult to fill, instead the lounge area, bar and reception all flow together easily with the benched space out front as well.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing at Eaves Hall multiple times over the years and from a photographers perspective the lighting is ideal. Large windows run through the ceremony space and line the walls of the building, offering natural lighting throughout.

One of my favourite part of any wedding day is the bride and groom shoot. A slot in the day that we’ll head off to capture photographs of just you two. This, especially at Eaves Hall provides so many little spots that make it different every time.

The front steps are almost iconic and always offer a beautiful setting for the couples shoot (And confetti). Whilst setting up lights to create dramatic bride and groom photographs in the evening is always a must.
